Last Saturday David went with Josh and the other Priests on a hike in Bell Canyon. After seeing the pictures, it's on my list. Just look at that waterfall.

Provo Activities
David was invited to a dinner at the BYU Stadium for work. He was able to take Josh and Tanner with him and they got to go down on the field and take some pictures. The speaker at the dinner was Coach Mendenhall and they said it was an excellent speech.
After their dinner, they met me at Rachel's soccer game in Provo. We watched the rest of that and then we headed to the temple in Provo to do baptisms. Some nights we really have to pack it in to get everything done. It seems like every time we planned to go to the temple, something came up. Well this time, 3 things came up and we just went anyway. Sometimes you have to do that or it will never happen. :) It was wonderful as always to be in the temple with the kids.

Tanner Playing Soccer
This post is mostly for Jared since he was asking to see some video of the kids playing soccer. Here are a few video clips of Tanner playing soccer. The first one is a little long... sorry. I can't figure out how to clip it shorter and still be able to post it in my blog. He is #62. The first 20 seconds are of Tanner and then you can stop watching after that unless you're just interested in watching soccer. :) The second video is hard to see because dad took it with his iphone but Tanner is the goalie wearing red and he does a great block of the goal.

Happy Mother's Day
Just wanted to say "I love you" to my mom and my mother-in-law. You are both wonderful examples to me.
Also, wanted to say "Thank you" to my beautiful children and husband for a wonderful Mother's Day!! Breakfast, dinner, gifts..... and NO DISHES FOR ME TO DO!!! Yeah! :)
I get to talk to my first child, Jared, tonight and I can hardly wait. I'm so proud of Jared for the service he is giving and I am proud to be his Mom. The same goes for all my kids. I love you!

Our First College Graduate
Joshua graduated from Salt Lake Community College last night with honors. The silver chord that he is wearing indicates that he was a Dean's List graduate.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
For those of you who might be wondering what happened to his high school graduation, that is actually happening next month. I know, weird. He graduated from college before he graduated from high school. This was all made possible by a charter school that he has been going to for 11th and 12th grades. It is a public school but you do have to apply to get in. It is a very small school that meets on the SLCC campus so that they can take college courses. The college courses meet the requirements for their associates degree as well as their high school diploma. They get to kill 2 birds with one stone and they graduate with an A.S. in General Studies at the same time they finish high school.
He is off to BYU in the Fall, entering as a junior and thinking he will study business and get his MBA one day.
CONGRATULATIONS JOSHUA!!!
