Panama Canal Cruise

David and I went on a cruise through the Panama Canal. It was 15 days long and we went 4,774 Nautical Miles. I loved every minute of it and even liked the day I was sick. I just stayed in my room and read and David brought me food from the buffet. What a life!?! We really did have a great time and thank Jared and Tori for staying with the kids and keeping everything running smoothly.

Soccer Champ!

Adam played in a soccer tournament this past weekend in Mesquite, NV, with his Blue Knights team.  David took him and they had a great time.  Adam's team took 1st place in their division.  The final game went into overtime, twice, and then it was still tied so they had to do Goal Kicks.  Talk about exciting!!!  Enjoy the slideshow.

Another Adult in the Family

Tanner turned 18 years old on December 19th.  Wow.  For his birthday he wanted to go paintballing with a bunch of his friends so they all went yesterday.  He didn't even have to have his parents sign the waiver since he is now 18.  :-)

Piano Recital

A few nights ago, we went to Rebecca and Adam's piano recital.  They both did a great job and Rebecca also won a 3rd place medal for the practicing competition that their teacher has.  Good job!!

First Ski Day of the Season

We loaded up the car and headed up to Park City for our first day of skiing/snowboarding this season.  It was fantastic.  David didn't have such a great time though since he pulled something in his knee on his first run.  Luckily it wasn't anything serious but he spent the rest of the day in the lodge with his leg elevated while we all skied.  Park City was nice and gave him a voucher for another ski day since he only went down 1 time.

Tanner was the one taking the picture.  I'll have to get one of him next time.
I know this looks photo shopped but it really isn't.  I took it on my phone.  There were these wispy ice crystal clouds part way down the mountain and they made this cool ring around the sun.  Sometimes there were 2 and 3 rings and it looked so cool.
