National Honors Society - Newest Member is Rachel Powell

Yesterday, David and I attended the Induction Ceremony for the Corner Canyon High School Chapter of the National Honors Society.  We were very proud to witness Rachel's induction and know she will be a great asset to the CCHS Chapter.  She had to meet certain requirements such as GPA and leadership experience.  She wrote several essays to apply and then was selected by the CCHS NHS Committee.  Not very many people qualify and are accepted so it is a great honor.  Also, since this is the first group of NHS members for the CCHS chapter, their names will be included in the Time Capsule they are doing for the first year, which will be closed at the end of May and opened in 50 years.  Awesome!  That's kind of cool.
